What Connect to Masjid does

Connect to Masjid (connecttomasjid.com) helps you find the nearest Islamic center and see its prayer times, events, contact info, and directions. The information shown about each center is sourced from that center's own public website.

Information we collect

You can use the search and browse features without an account and without giving us any personal information. If you choose to create an account, we collect:

• Sign-in identity— if you sign in with Google, Microsoft, or Facebook, we receive your name, email address, and a unique account identifier from that provider. If you sign in with an email or phone number instead, we store that email/phone and a short-lived verification code (the code is hashed and expires shortly after being sent — we don't keep it once it's used or expired).
• Favorites— which Islamic centers you've saved, so we can show them to you on the homepage.

When you search for nearby centers, your browser asks your permission to share your location. That location is sent to our server for a single search request and is not stored.

We keep an anonymous, site-wide count of page visits and per-center view counts. These are simple counters — we do not log your IP address, use cookies to track you, or tie visits to your identity for this purpose.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
• We don't run third-party ads or ad trackers on this site.
• We don't use third-party analytics services.
• We don't share your account info with the Islamic centers you view or favorite.

Third-party sign-in providers

If you sign in with Google, Microsoft, or Facebook, that provider's own privacy policy also applies to the information they share with us. We only request your basic profile (name, email) — we don't request access to your contacts, posts, or other account data.

How long we keep your data

We keep your account and favorites until you ask us to delete them. See our data deletion page for how to request deletion.
